TheDeath of Yugoslavia is a BBC documentary series first broadcast in1995, and is also the name of a book written by Allan Little and LauraSilber that accompanies the series.
It covers the collapse of theformer Yugoslavia. It is notable in its combination ofnever-before-seen archive footage interspersed with interviews of mostof the main players in the conflict. This format, pioneered by theprogrammes production company, Brian Lapping Associates, was veryinfluential and the company produced many others in similar style.
